I am wanting to get a California certificate of rehabilitation. My conviction is from 2000, in Butte county. I have been clean and sober since Feb. 19, 2000. I did my jail time and completed a one year residential treatment. I completed my three years on probation without incident. After which I have tried my best to reflect a life of recovery and of someone that never wanted to be in that situation again. I have started a family, I have maintained employment, I have strived to further my education by attending classes at butte. I completed my requirements for an AS degree, with hopes to walk in a graduation ceremony this summer. I have more recently been accepted into a nursing program at Institute of Technology up in Redding. In 2009 I went in front of a Judge and got my B felony expunged but there is still an A felony on my record, that the Judge denied changing. I would like to get a Governors pardon/certificate of rehabilitation. If there is any advice or help that I can get it would be very much appreciated. Thanks for all that you do. Trina
