SOS Life Skill Instructors collaborate with faith support networks to guide clients into developing informal support systems to help them in their journey of recovery. Faith support systems will include local churches and Glenn County Human Resource Agency to monitor participation and progress in the participation with informal support networks. Interested participants attend weekly SOS Life Skills classes that are biblically based. After completing the program, formerly incarcerated participants are offered to participate as a full time SOS Peer Mentor or periodically return for Aftercare. SOS recognizes that maintaining a strong support system is vital for a successful and permanent return to communities and SOS Peer Mentors facilitate the aftercare process. SOS reentry programs are life changing!
